On 11 July 2018, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III issued a Clarificatory Order regarding his department’s previous orders directing PLDT to absorb and regularize over 7,300 employees of its service contractors.

The service contractors engaged by PLDT are bona fide corporations properly registered with the DOLE and the SEC.

While PLDT awaits judicial relief from the CA, PLDT is carrying out an orderly and effective intake process in response to the DOLE order.

Ang DOLE ang nag-utos sa 38 service contract providers ng PLDT, kabilang ang aming call center at business process service providers, na huminto sa pagseserbisyo sa PLDT. 

DOLE has ordered 38 service contract providers of PLDT, including our call center and business process service providers, to cease and desist from providing services to PLDT.
