Disclaimer: These are online groceries we've observed that people have been turning to the last few weeks. We will add to this as the days go by for your reference.

Shopping for groceries during the enhanced community quarantine in the Philippines is pretty challenging to say the least, especially when you're living in or around Metro Manila. Aside from reduced operating hours, actually getting into the grocery store is a pain, and it's almost guaranteed you'll be waiting quite a long time before you're able to start putting items in your cart.

Of course you don't have to go out to be able to stock your shelves - here are five ways you can grab your groceries online:

LazMart

While deliveries of non-essential goods from Lazada has been halted as of press time, the company has resumed shipping of essential goods like medical supplies, protective items and other cargo like food in Luzon.

Aside from that you can order groceries via Lazmart, which serves as their supermarket. Orders can be bought and paid for via Lazada Wallet, credit and debit cards as well as COD.

GrabMart

Grab is filling the void left by the suspension of their ride-hailing arm by introducing GrabMart, an online grocery portal accessible right from their app.

You can order food and groceries straight from the app, and have it delivered to your door with a minimal order fee. Right now GrabMart is operating only in select areas in the metro, but the company is expanding their coverage as of press time to include other areas as well.

Metro Mart

Metro Mart is a great place to shop for groceries online as it draws stock from multiple big-name supermarkets and drugstores in the metro. You can buy groceries from Rustans, Shopwise, S&R as well as Robinsons and have it delivered straight to your door. The only drawback here is that Metro Mart has a P1,000 minimum purchase requirement to keep in mind when you order.

Landers

Landers, the membership-based supermarket also offers online delivery service, though it's only being offered to members via their site. While shopping this way is more convenient than actually heading to their physical locations, be aware that there's a bit of delay when ordering because of the enhanced community quarantine.

Walter Mart

Walter Mart is yet another big grocery chain that allows you to do all of your shopping online, avoiding the socially-distant crowd for your convenience.

Take note that stocks shown in the app may not be present in the store closest to you, and there are limited delivery slots available depending on when you order.
