MANILA, Philippines, 29th February 2016 –– Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (“PLDT”) (PSE: TEL) (NYSE: PHI) today announced its audited financial and operating results for 2015 with Consolidated Core Net Income, before exceptional items, amounting to P35.2 billion, 6% or P2.2 billion lower than the P37.4 billion recorded last year.

The decrease was due mainly to lower EBITDA reflecting the impact of expenses relating to the manpower reduction program, higher financing costs, offset by lower provisions for income tax. Read more
