Leading integrated telco network PLDT Inc (PLDT) and its wireless subsidiary Smart Communications Inc (Smart) have hailed the issuance of Executive Order No. 32, streamlining the permitting process for the construction, installation, repair, operation and maintenance of telecommunications and Internet infrastructure in the country, which was signed by President Marcos on Wednesday.

"We look forward to working with the Government so we can execute more STEM-like curriculums," PLDT Group President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio said during Stratbase Albert del Rosario Institute's Pilipinas Conference 2022.

PLDT and Smart President and CEO Al Panlilio has been recognized as CEO of the Year at the 2022 Asia Communication Awards, the recognition program for outstanding telco players organized by Total Telecom.

Coming off the Group’s record-breaking revenues in 2021, PLDT and Smart Communications President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio remains optimistic on the company’s growth momentum amidst the shifting industry landscape.
