PLDT and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have teamed up with the provincial government of Davao de Oro in creating a more disaster-resilient community for Davaoeños.  

As part of the group’s initiatives for International Women’s Month, PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) turned over PlantSmart kits to the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW), Marillac Hills, and Haven for Women.   

Leading integrated telco PLDT Inc. (PLDT) and its wireless subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) are backing the City Government of Davao in its Underground Cabling Project, which aims to improve the city's physical appearance and attract more investors and tourists to the city.

PLDT provided connectivity support to the first National Election Summit organized by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc. scored a three-peat at the just concluded 58th Anvil Awards, bagging the coveted Company of Year distinction for the third straight year. This honor is awarded to an organization for garnering the greatest number of accumulated points based on the value of each Anvil trophy received.

PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) joined in spreading the love and hosted a Valentine sale in their Makati City headquarters to support the livelihood of local farmers and community artisans.
