PLDT, PSF aid CDC Covid-19 vaccination drive with Moderna vaccine donations

PLDT’s wholly-owned subsidiary PLDT Clarktel, Inc., and the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) have recently turned over 3,000 doses of Moderna vaccines to government-operated firm Clark Development Corporation (CDC) to help in its vaccination drive and booster programs for the area.

Baguio City holds another run of PLDT and Smart’s Better Today Conversations on Mental Health Awareness, focusing on mental strength and resilience. With over 8,900 views online and over 300 on-ground participants, Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong led the conversations series’ line-up of speakers.

Fifty-two-year-old Ann Maandig has worked in PLDT since 1992. As a daughter of former PLDT employees, the company has played a big part in shaping her values.  Starting out as a telephone operator taking long-distance calls, the great rapport she’s built with coworkers equipped her with valuable technical skills through the years.    It had also prepared her Super Typhoon Odette.

As part of its month-long efforts for Safer Internet Day, PLDT and Smart, through its Better Today program, collaborated with Mental Health PH, through its #UsapTayo program. The Twitter Conversations focused on #UsapangSafety, to be better digital citizens. To date, the #UsapTayo collaboration has garnered over 8.6 million impressions on Twitter.

PLDT, Smart empower GenSan youth through storytelling series on mental health

PLDT and Smart, through its Better Today program, supported the “Sugakod Series” of the local government of General Santos (GenSan) City. Led by its Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), the storytelling series took a deep dive into GenSan’s community-based mental health program, Project Hinabi. Last year’s Sugakod series has garnered over 66,000 social media reach.
