PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have reported a decrease in the number of clicks by subscribers on unsolicited SMS that lead to fraud, following the Group’s massive awareness campaign against the scheme of dubious job offers.

In light of the culmination of the Child Protection Compact (CPC) Partnership between the United States and the Philippine Governments, PLDT and Smart pledged to continue enabling programs of the Philippine Department of Justice Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (DOJ-IACAT) and International Justice Mission (IJM) for Filipino children.
