The Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. has launched its latest innovation that will help corporate clients secure their facilities and prevent theft at a fraction of the traditional costs.

MANILA, Philippines, February 14, 2008 – ePLDT’s VITRO Data Center, the first purposely-built data center in the country, adds another feather to its cap with its successful recertification for the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management and ISO27001:2005 Information Security standards.

VITRO’s latest feat comes just less than a year after the data center was granted accreditation by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
