Leading integrated telco network PLDT Inc and its wireless arm Smart Communications Inc.'s corporate shared value programs took center stage at the recent PLDT and Smart Communities Day held at Smart Tower in Makati as part of PLDT's 95th anniversary celebrations.
The event, which marks 20 years since the launch of PLDT and Smart's CSV programs, showcased the Group's award-winning initiatives to promote technology-driven livelihood, education, disaster resilience, internet safety and digital inclusion advocacies among its communities nationwide.
Gracing the event to highlight how the programs are tied into PLDT and Smart's overall purpose, mission and vision were company executives led by FVP and Head of Group Corporate Communications Cathy Yang; Debbie M Hu, FVP and Group Head, Network Build, Operations, and Maintenance; John Y. Palanca, FVP and Head of Consumer Sales; Angel T. Redoble, PLDT Chief Information Security Officer; Javier C. Lagdameo, VP of Corporate Relationship Management, PLDT Enterprise; Mikoy M. Arcaina, VP for Culture, People Group.
Also present at the ceremonies to share the impact of PLDT and Smart's CSV programs in their respective communities were representatives from National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, ATRIEV, Bulacan State University, USAID ABC+, Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute, TikTok Philippines, Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office, Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, Bidlisiw Foundation and UNICEF Philippines.
