The Siasi Municipality, an island municipality of Sulu, is part of the Kapatid Village Program wherein MVP Group of Companies led by the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF), One Meralco Foundation, and Metro Pacific Investments pledged a total of 40 houses. Each housing unit measures 23 square meters.

Each village is part of the pledges under the Negosyo Para Sa Kapayapan Sa Sulu Program initiated by the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship Foundation, Inc. This was launched last December 19, 2016 during the Malacañan Palace event with President Rodrigo R. Duterte and Presidential Adviser Joey Concepcion III. Under the Kapatid Village Banner Program are the six initial villages located in different municipalities of Sulu.

“We strive to provide every Filipino an equal opportunity to live a dignified life. We do this the best we can. By providing homes to these people, we ensure a life that will bring a better tomorrow for them,” PSF President Esther Santos said.
