Sinulog is one of the Philippines’ most well-known festivals. It is an annual Catholic celebration of Sto. Niño or the Child Jesus in Cebu City, which is the center of the Sto. Niño Catholic celebrations in the country.

In honor of the Feast of Sto. Niño, PLDT conducted a feeding program for 150 indigent children at the Carreta Cemetery in Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City, in partnership with the Office of Cebu City through Vice Mayor Michael Rama.
“Sinulog is truly one of the much-awaited festivals by many Filipinos,” said PLDT Community Relations Division Head Katherine P. Diaz De Rivera. “Anchored on the devotion of the Cebuanos to Sto. Niño, it is only fitting that we conduct a feeding program for some of the children of Cebu City. Seeing their innocent smiles truly fills our hearts with so much joy.”

Rama himself is a Sto. Niño devotee. Moreover, many of his advocacies have always been centered in helping and improving the welfare of children.
PLDT has always been a big supporter of the Sinulog Festival. The company is an annual sponsor of the popular cultural tradition.
