To strengthen government operations in geographically isolated and underserved communities across the country, PLDT Enterprise has partnered with SMS Global Technologies, Inc. (SMSGT), a pioneering systems integrator and technology management company in the Philippines since 1995, to implement PLDT Satellite Internet through Starlink.
A shared vision for inclusive connectivity
Through this collaboration, PLDT Enterprise, the corporate arm of PLDT, is enabling SMSGT to deliver satellite-based internet solutions via Starlink to their government partners. These services are vital for ensuring connectivity in areas where conventional infrastructure is limited — supporting the ability of SMSGT’s customers to fulfill their mandates in remote and underserved locations.

Partnering for world-class connectivity
SMSGT is deploying these Starlink units to augment connectivity for government clients in off-grid areas. The partnership allows SMSGT to ensure reliable, high-speed internet connectivity for their nationwide projects — enabling mission-critical services for communities that need them most.
“We’ve long been looking for a resilient solution that meets the needs of our remote government projects,” said Anthony Christian Angeles, President and CEO of SMS Global Technologies, Inc. “We were very excited when PLDT Enterprise started offering PLDT Satellite Internet through Starlink. This partnership allows us to fulfill our commitment to digital access in the most underserved areas.”
A commitment to nation building through innovation
The partnership highlights PLDT Enterprise’s role as the first and only telco in the Philippines authorized to resell Starlink services — delivering trusted, scalable solutions to organizations working in the country’s hardest-to-reach areas. By empowering SMSGT’s initiatives, PLDT Enterprise also continues to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) on infrastructure, innovation, and reduced inequality.
