PLDT Gabay ng Unyon sa Telekomunikasyon ng mga Supervisor (GUTS) recently launched its second tree-planting project at a 10-hectare plantation in Bulacan. The plantation is adopted by PLDT GUTS in line with theGglobal Warming Reduction Awareness campaign  of the union and in support of the National Greening Progress. This year’s tree-planting theme is ”Pamilyang Nagtatanim, Laban Sa Global Warming.”

Headed by PLDT GUTS President Charlito A. Arevalo and Project OIC Rodrigo D. Paglinawan, 400 participants supported the tree-planting project in Sitio Pamusuan, Brgy. San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan.

“PLDT GUTS has always advocated various CSR programs within our union,” Arevalo said. “It is our way to give back to different communities. This time around, we are focusing our efforts in taking care of our environment through the tree-planting project.”

Some of the participants included PLDT employees, dependents and friends. Various accredited PLDT clubs like the PLDT Lens Camera Club (PLCC), PLDT Divers Club Inc. (PDCI), and PLDT Mountaineering and Outdoors Club, Inc. (MOCI) were also in attendance during the project.
