Remarkable milestone
Telco giant PLDT was honored as this year’s Company of the Year by PRSP. The award is conferred to PLDT for garnering the most number of Anvil points for its public relations programs and tools. The company harvested five Gold Anvil trophies for its outstanding PR programs specific to the company’s employees.
Esteemed as the country’s premiere organization for public relations professionals, PRSP lauded the Philippines’ leading digital services provider with Gold trophies for groupwide initiatives such as Handle With Care — PLDT’s in-house campaign on data privacy; L&D On The Road — an employee program on essential training offerings; the MVP Geek Olympics — a hackathon for employees of PLDT and affiliates; The Rocketeer Project — a campaign about challenging the status quo and being ahead of the curve; and #VoxNow — an employee engagement program that bridges the gap between past and present generations of employees through a synergistic initiative that additionally serves to foster corporate values.
Aside from the PLDT Infoteach Outreach Program, Silver Anvil citations were also given to PLDT Global’s e-Grad program and PLDT Enterprise’ Kick-off and Cybersecurity campaigns.
With more than 400 entries submitted to PRSP every year, the Anvil Awards is recognized as the Oscars of the communications industry, as it symbolizes excellence in public relations.
