PLDT Inc.’s B2B arm PLDT Enterprise recently kicked off Tech Week PH 2025 in Davao City. Gathering over 500 attendees across the region, Tech Week PH Davao reinforced the group’s commitment to empowering Mindanao’s businesses and MSMEs through advanced technologies and strategic partnerships.

Among the speakers were CJ Lacsican, Vice President for Cities at Grab Philippines, and DTI Regional XI Director Romeo Castañaga, who shared insights on driving regional growth through digital transformation. DTI emphasized its initiatives to boost MSME productivity, accelerate AI adoption, and strengthen the startup ecosystem, while Grab highlighted its efforts to digitalize transport and equip MSMEs with tech-driven solutions.

With in-depth discussions on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI), Tech Week PH Davao spotlighted how digital solutions enhance productivity, business resilience, and regional economic development. Experts explored how AI-powered tools optimize business operations, fuel innovation, and create new opportunities for industries across Mindanao, while emphasizing the critical role of cloud strategies and advanced infrastructure in supporting AI-driven solutions.

“AI is no longer a futuristic concept.  It is here and it’s already transforming the way we work, live, and operate,” said Victor S.
