Leading telco and digital services provider PLDT and US-based TV streaming pioneer Roku Inc. announced their landmark partnership for a new powerful streaming service and player in the Philippines at the recently-concluded International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam.

 

The Roku Powered™ streaming solution will deliver the world of entertainment on the TV screens of Filipino homes by next year, amid growing demand for internet-delivered TV services. The IBC is an unrivalled global destination for discussion and debate about the many different challenges facing the electronic media and entertainment industry, with this year’s theme focused on Transformation in the Digital Era: Leadership, Strategy and Creativity in Media and Entertainment.
