Smart Communications, Inc (Smart) Vice President for International Roaming and Consumer Business Mary Alice Ramos joined executives from Asia Pacific at the GSMA Wholesale Agreements & Solutions (GSMA WAS) #9 Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Ramos delivered a keynote speech about diversity in the workplace in the Philippines. She joined other speakers such as Shekila Ramalingam, vice president of business development of FirstWave; Jill Cooper, program marketing director of GSMA; and Sue Monagan, chief executive officer of Small Cell Forum.

Ramos also participated during the panel discussions on the challenges in Asia Pacific region and how to make the industry work better at GSMA WAS #9 Conference.

Other panelists were Ali Tabassi, chief operating officer of YTL Communications; Anneli Lundberg of H3G; and Conor Devine, chief executive officer of ANAM Asia.
