The Philippine Navy fleet reps receive the care bags donation from First Pacific and the MVP Group.
Grateful for the dedication and commitment of our heroic medical frontliners, the group of companies led by businessman Manuel V Pangilinan is providing health care essentials in a bag to help sustain them in their continuing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MVP Group foundations and hospitals, led by the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) and the Makati Medical Center Foundation (MMCF) are distributing some 3,500 care bags to frontliners in 36 hospitals and healthcare facilities in the National Capital Region and surrounding cities and towns. Each care bag contains a pulse oximeter; a box of ascorbic acid vitamin tablets, face mask and face shield.
“Our medical frontliners are truly our great heroes in these difficult times of the pandemic. We cannot thank them enough for their tremendous sacrifices in saving the lives of COVID patients,” said PSF President Ma. Esther O. Santos. “We hope that these care bags will help them in their daily battle with the virus and encourage them to care for themselves and to keep safe always,” she added.
