The country’s largest fully integrated telco PLDT has opened its newest digital hub at Glorietta Mall, in the heart of Makati City.
Customers in the central business district and nearby cities can easily drop by the third floor of Glorietta 1 to apply for PLDT Home Fibr plans, purchase devices, or inquire about PLDT’s services whenever they go to the mall to shop or run errands. The PLDT Store in Glorietta will also be able to serve customers during holidays and weekends.
“We would like to thank our partners from Ayala Malls for giving us the opportunity to open our doors here so we could reach out to more customers in Metro Manila. We are continuously expanding our presence nationwide through our digital lifestyle stores in order to serve our customers better,” said Alex Caeg, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Sales Group at PLDT and Smart. “The PLDT Store in Glorietta will showcase the industry-leading seamless services that PLDT has to offer, made possible by our massive network rollout and our tradition of innovation,” he added.
Customers can use the self-service InfoTouch machine, which would allow them to view and print their bills, check their accounts, and request for repairs and other services. The broadband visualizers will also provide customers with information on their data usage, helping them decide which broadband plan will fit their needs for their home or business.
To ensure the safety of customers and employees, the store is equipped with protection barriers, sanitation mats, and thermal scanners to guard against the COVID-19 virus. Safety reminders are also displayed in areas easily seen by guests, and routine sanitation procedures are conducted to keep the entire store virus-free. Customers are also encouraged to practice health and safety protocols while visiting the store. Customers can also book an appointment via pldthome.info/pldtglo for a virtual meeting with a customer service representative.
PLDT currently operates the country’s most extensive fiber infrastructure, at more than 511,000 kilometers as of June 2021. This infrastructure also supports Smart’s mobile networks, which now cover 96% of the population from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi.
PLDT’s relentless push to provide connectivity for all is aligned with the group’s long-standing commitment to help the Philippines attain the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG no. 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. This initiative also falls under PLDT's group-wide commitment to Awesome Customer Experience and Quality of Service, one of the seven pillars that comprise the company's sustainability framework. It is also aligned with PLDT's sustainability focus area of connecting everyone, everywhere through group-wide products and services.
