CEBU, Philippines, January 18, 2014– Telecoms leader PLDT enlivens the 2014 Sinulog in Cebu City by enabling Cebuanos and visitors of the city to access free premium WiFi that runs on Fibr, as they celebrate the country’s biggest year-opening festival.

“The Sinulog WiFi streams on PLDT’s Fibr connection, the ultra-fast fiber optic service that delivers dedicated speeds of up to 100 megabits per second (Mbps) internet speed,” Lintag said.
He added that the free internet access will allow guests and spectators to record the festivities on their androids, smart phones and tablets, and post live photos and updates as they happen via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social networking sites.
