Inspiring hope in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, PLDT and Smart, through its collaborative platform Better Today, recently culminated its month-long mental health series with a record-breaking over 121,000 viewers.

PLDT and Smart, through its Better Today initiative, reinforce its commitment to champion mental health awareness nationwide. Recognizing the vital role that mental health plays in a person’s well-being, Better Today, a collaborative platform for changemaking in the digital space, has partnered with local government units and youth groups. 

PLDT and Smart have just launched Time Capsule Project, a virtual art festival on mental health and wellness under its Better Today program.

When physical art fairs, exhibitions and workshops are indefinitely put on hold, how do artists in Mindanao adapt in the new normal? Technology becomes their ally.

We culminated a month-long virtual storytelling series on mental wellness with stories of hope, survival and changemaking.  

For its final episode on October 30, PLDT and Smart’s Better Today Conversations will feature social media sensation and TV host Macoy Dubs and youth leaders Tasha and Bella Tanjutco of Kids for Kids PH.

Over 16,000 PLDT and Smart employees take the lead in addressing mental health awareness, as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupts lives and lifestyles for over seven months in restrictive quarantine measures.
