We welcome the appeal of the National Telecommunications Commission to various government agencies to fast-track permits for fiber optic networks as well.
NTC extends validity of existing permits, licenses til end-2020
NTC has extended the validity of all existing telecom and broadcast permits, certificates and licenses until the last working day of December 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
PUBLIC ADVISORY: Deferment of the Migration of Landline numbers from 7-Digits to 8-Digits
In compliance with an order of the NTC, the implementation of Memorandum Order No. 04-07-2018 for the migration of Landline numbers in area code 02 (Greater Metro Manila) from 7-Digits to 8-Digits has been deferred from 18 March 2019 to 06 October 2019.
