Tulong Kapatid recently deployed over 1,000 grocery packs to the families of frontline health workers and personnel of V. Luna Hospital as well as the families of the frontline Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) checkpoint officers. Spearheaded by the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) and PLDT wireless unit Smart Communications, the initiative is done in partnership with the AFP and the Makati Medical Center Foundation.
 
The contents of the grocery pack include two cans of meat loaf, two cans of carne norte, 2 kilos of rice, six sachets of milo and 10 sachets of coffee.

"We salute our frontline heroes for the courageous work that they are doing in taking  care of the people affected by COVID-19.  We join the growing number of Filipinos who are coming together to help our health workers during this critical time," PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan said.
 
“We stand behind our country’s frontline workers every step of the way. Our small gesture is our way of thanking them for their noble efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic,” PSF President Esther O. Santos said.
