PLDT Enterprise and Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have successfully brought their eBizNovation Buy Local Bazaar to Tagbilaran City, Bohol, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bohol Province and Tiktok Shop Philippines.

“We recognize the crucial role that MSMEs play in our economy. Through our eBiznovation program, we’re not just providing digital tools; we’re empowering these businesses with the knowledge and skills to leverage technology effectively, including cutting-edge AI solutions. This initiative is proof of our commitment support MSMEs and drive digital transformation across the Philippines,” said Jinky Q. Francisco, Head of PLDT Enterprise SMBiz – Visayas and Mindanao.

Over 70 MSMEs participated in the comprehensive upskilling sessions covering basic marketing and branding concepts, viral content creation, smartphone photography and videography, internet safety, and various techniques for selling on the Tiktok platform.

Notably, participants were also introduced to easy and efficient AI-powered productivity tools tailored for business applications, enhancing their operational efficiency and competitiveness.
