Basketball fans in Cagayan de Oro got an exciting treat as Kagay‑anon players of TNT Tropang 5G Poy Erram, Rey Nambatac, and Glenn Khobuntin, together with PBA Legend and TNT Tropang 5G Team Manager Jojo Lastimosa visited key PLDT and Smart stores in the city during the Jolas Cup 2026 opening weekend.

The players met customers and supporters at the PLDT Retail Store in Carmen and the Smart Store in Limketkai, before making a special stop at the Limketkai Mall Telco Tiangge, where they greeted fans, signed autographs, and posed for photos — turning an ordinary store visit into a memorable fan experience.

“Seeing fans smile, taking photos, and sharing stories with us reminds us why events like the Jolas Cup matter — to inspire the community and the next generation of players,” added Khobuntin.

They also visited Barangay Nazareth to bring excitement to the community and thank the fans for their unwavering support, participating in the games and fanfare organized by PLDT Home.

“CDO is home for us, so it’s always special to come back and feel the love from our ka-Tropa,” said Nambatac.

The Jolas Cup 2026 runs until 16 May 2026 at the Xavier Ateneo Sports Centre in Cagayan de Oro, bringing together young athletes from across Northern Mindanao.
