The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) has inducted the PLDT Group into the Company of the Year Hall of Fame during the 61st Anvil Awards, recognizing sustained excellence and consistency in public relations practice.
The Anvil Awards Hall of Fame honors organizations that have earned the distinction five times for a specific program, underscoring long-term discipline, effectiveness, and credibility in strategic communications. The distinction places the PLDT Group among a select group of organizations whose work has demonstrated consistency and relevance over time.
In addition to the Hall of Fame recognition, the PLDT Group received two Gold and six Silver Anvil Awards for public relations programs and tools that support how Filipinos live, connect, and engage in an increasingly digital world. The recognized initiatives span brand communications, child online protection, digital safety, home and business connectivity, and strategic partnerships, brought to life by PLDT and Smart, and business units PLDT Enterprise, PLDT Home, and VITRO Inc.

VITRO Inc., a subsidiary of ePLDT and the country’s leading data center operator, received a Gold Anvil Award for the launch of VITRO Sta. Rosa (VSR), the Philippines’ first AI-ready hyperscale data center. The initiative was also named a finalist for the Platinum Anvil Award for PR Tools, recognizing communications that supported the introduction of critical digital infrastructure.
The Group also received a Gold Anvil Award for PLDT Home Fiber Netflix, a campaign that transformed Filipino entertainment through a game-changing partnership with streaming leader Netflix.
“Being inducted into the Hall of Fame reflects the consistency our teams have shown over time,” said Roby Alampay, First Vice President and Head of the Public Engagement Group for PLDT and Smart. “Across the PLDT Group, our focus has been on making technology accessible and relevant, so more Filipinos can benefit from the country’s digital progress.”

Widely regarded as the Oscars of Public Relations in the Philippines, the Anvil Awards are organized by the PRSP and recognize excellence in public relations programs and professional communications that demonstrate strategic insight, creativity, and measurable results.
