[May 6, 2026] The PLDT Group continues to support communities in Albay as Mayon Volcano remains under Alert Level 3, with network services remaining stable across affected areas. Technical teams and personnel are on the ground while operating safely in communities affected by ashfall.

To help residents stay connected with loved ones and emergency services and provide communities with added support and reassurance during this time, PLDT and Smart have extended Emergency Load Assistance to affected customers in Camalig, Guinobatan, Ligao City, and nearby areas. Affected Smart Prepaid and TNT subscribers will receive free calls, texts, and data allocation, while PLDT Home WiFi and Smart Bro users will also receive emergency data support.

PLDT and Smart are working closely with local authorities and response partners to help ensure reliable communication services for affected communities. Residents are encouraged to follow official government advisories and prioritize safety amid ongoing volcanic activity.
