[May 6, 2026] The PLDT Group continues to support communities in Albay as Mayon Volcano remains under Alert Level 3, with network services remaining stable across affected areas. Technical teams and personnel are on the ground while operating safely in communities affected by ashfall.

PLDT and wireless unit Smart Communications are on standby as PHIVOLCS raises Kanlaon Volcano to Alert level 2.

PLDT and Smart are working with local government units to help communities mitigate hazards due to activity from the Taal Volcano.
