PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. have unveiled their newest digital hub in Mindanao. Customers can now easily drop by the PLDT and Smart store which is now more strategically located at the ground floor of the Gaisano Capital Mall.

Manuel V Pangilinan steps down as President & CEO of PLDT Inc. (PLDT) (PSE: TEL) (NYSE: PHI), and retains his post as PLDT Chairman. At the 2021 PLDT Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, Alfredo S. Panlilio was appointed to the post and will now concurrently serve as President and CEO of PLDT and Smart.  Panlilio retains his post as Chief Revenue Officer of PLDT.

Inspiring hope in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, PLDT and Smart, through its collaborative platform Better Today, recently culminated its month-long mental health series with a record-breaking over 121,000 viewers.

Overseas Filipinos in Canada will now have access to Smart Communications, Inc’s electronic load through the partnership of PLDT Global Corporation (PGC) and Hasty Market. 

PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) blocked almost a thousand websites hosting child abuse materials, bringing the total number blocked to 4,000 sites by mid-May.
