PLDT is further strengthening its on-ground partnerships with barangays in Metro Manila and nearby areas as part of intensified efforts to protect cables and telco equipment, especially amid the rise in cable cutting and theft incidents.

PLDT has reaffirmed its commitment to intensify industry-wide collaboration to protect telco infrastructure as it joins fellow members of the National Telecommunications Security Council in mapping out key initiatives for 2026.
