PLDT and Smart are ramping up their bayanihan-driven initiatives with barangays across Metro Manila and nearby provinces to help safeguard telco infrastructure and ensure continuous services for customers.

First launched in Makati City, the initiative has now been rolled out in Pangasinan, Davao, and Cebu, with more areas to follow soon.

PLDT through its Asset Protection & Security Risk Governance (APSRG) Group has launched a grassroots initiative aimed at strengthening partnerships with local communities to protect critical telecommunications infrastructure.

The company collaborates with local communities and employs proactive monitoring strategies to combat theft, vandalism, and natural disasters, enhancing network resilience.
