PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) together with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) launch the first-ever PLDT-Smart Ligtas Kit to kick off this year’s National Disaster Resilience Month.

(Smart), in partnership with the Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI), have rolled out the first-ever Training of Trainers on Digital Farmers Program (DFP) among Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) representatives and farmer-scientists in Calabarzon.

From the COVID-19 pandemic to the recent onslaught of Typhoon Odette, 41-year old Michael Enriquez from Cebu City -- who manages their family-owned Lola Luz Countryside Bakeshop -- shared that he and his family have long relied on PLDT’s consistent and reliable internet service to stay afloat during the most trying times.

With support from Canva Philippines, youth participants were encouraged to use art as a form of mental healthcare. PLDT and Smart’s “The Time Capsule Project” has more than tripled its entries this year to almost a hundred.
