PLDT and Smart’s network infrastructure enabled fast and reliable transmission of votes and relevant election data in the 2025 National and Local Elections. The state poll body utilized some 60,000 Smart SIMs in voting precincts nationwide to transmit election results over Smart’s 4G network almost exclusively.
