Thirty-one persons with disabilities in Daanbantayan, northern Cebu, successfully completed an eight-day Digital Business Basics Training (DBBT) facilitated by ATRIEV or Adaptive Technology for Rehabilitation, Integration, and Empowerment of the Visually Impaired. This activity was conducted in partnership with PLDT Inc., Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), and NORFIL Foundation, Inc.

PLDT and Smart, in partnership with ATRIEV, NORFIL Foundation, Voice Philippines, and the municipality of San Mateo, Rizal, conducted a free Digital Business Basics Training for 25 participants who are persons with disability or carers of persons with disability.

PLDT and Smart continue to foster inclusion and provide opportunities to persons with disabilities across the country by expanding the reach of their digital trainings, as part of their IDEATe program or Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Advocacy through Technology.
