PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications, Inc., in partnership with the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) and Basic Environmental Systems & Technologies, Inc. (BEST), recently extended support to the Samahan ng Nagkakaisang Pamilya ng Pantawid (SNPP) community in Barangay Old Balara, Quezon City. The initiative provided essential supplies while promoting responsible waste management, circularity, and disaster preparedness.

Private organizations are teaming up to help solve undernourishment among children in the Philippines. A World Bank report pointed out that undernutrition has long been a serious problem in the country. The report bared that one in three Filipino children under five are small in size for their age.
