PLDT and wireless arm Smart have delivered their innovative learning package School-in-a-Bag to Apo Elementary School in Apo Island, Negros Oriental, one of the Philippines’ last mile schools.

PLDT and its wireless unit Smart have onboarded teachers from provinces that were severely impacted by the devastating typhoons to the Central Visayan Institute Foundation Dynamic Learning Program (CVIF-DLP). DepEd has adopted the crisis-resilient teaching pedagogy as an alternate learning delivery method.

PLDT and its wireless subsidiary Smart recently hosted engineering students from BPSU at the PLDT and Smart Technolab in Makati City, strengthening the partnership between the organizations under the Smart Wireless Engineering Education Program (SWEEP).
