The group recently turned over a FarmTech kit to Central Bicol State University of Agriculture to support faculty trainers and agricultural extension workers from local government units across the region.

Davao’s cacao industry is getting a digital boost, thanks to PLDT and Smart’s partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Agriculture Training Institute and Mennonite Economic Development Associates.

The Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute Region 10 has turned over a FarmTech training kit to rice farmers from Barangay Raw-an Farmers Association Inc. in Lala, Lanao del Norte, in collaboration with PLDT and Smart.

He has expressed appreciation for PLDT and Smart’s Digital Farmers Program, which will be offered to cacao farmers in partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute and Mennonite Economic Development Associates.
