This is in connection with rising incidents of unauthorized modem collection across more areas, including Pangasinan and other areas in Central Luzon.

[09 October 2022] DITO Telecommunity Corporation (DITO) has issued a 7 October 2022 statement responding to the media coverage of PLDT Inc.’s 6 October 2022 mandatory disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting DITO’s defaulted Php430 million obligation owed to PLDT. DITO has resorted to squid tactics to mislead the public about this unpaid obligation.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on October 6, 2022, PLDT Inc. informed the PSE that it had, on the same date, sent DITO Telecommunity Corporation (DITO) a Notice of Material Breach and Demand for Payment as a result of DITO’s refusal to pay Php429,726,315.79 for contracted services which PLDT has fully performed and delivered to DITO.
