PLDT and wireless unit Smart help business owners be cybersmart by protecting them from financial crimes. The #BeCyberSmart pocket session at the recent Biñan City Sari-Sari Store Congress shared valuable tips on how to identify scams and fraud.

Strengthening the MSME digitalization program of the DTI, DTI Davao City, PLDT Enterprise, and Smart Communications Inc. recently conducted a series of online entrepreneurship trainings joined by more than 130 business owners from the Davao Region.

Through an event organized by PLDT Home under its Fiber Talk series, aspiring entrepreneur-residents of Torre de Manila in Ermita, Manila, were introduced to digital entrepreneurship under the PLDT Group’s eBizNovation program. 

More than 5,000 participants, composed of representatives of micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises, farmers, cooperatives, government agencies, and non-government organizations learned more about artificial intelligence and how to harness its potential to enhance businesses.

PLDT Group supported a recent Grow Asia and Philippines Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture webinar attended by more than 500 farmers, MSMEs, cooperative representatives, and traders of agriculture-related products and services from all over the Philippines.

PLDT and Smart recently equipped over 100 MSMEs and young entrepreneurs with digital skills and online solutions during the DTI Misamis Oriental's MSME One Expo 2024, a 3-day event designed to empower and showcase enterprises in the province.

PLDT Enterprise and Smart Communications Inc. have brought their eBizNovation Buy Local Bazaar to Tagbilaran City, Bohol, in collaboration with Department of Trade and Industry - Bohol and Tiktok Shop Philippines.

PLDT and Smart expand the reach of business owners in Tanauan, Batangas, by helping them adopt digital innovations. Through an event organized by PLDT Enterprise to support the growth of MSMEs, at least 150 entrepreneurs were introduced to e-commerce platforms under the PLDT Group’s eBizNovation program.

PLDT and Smart in collaboration with Huawei have conducted a digital upskilling session for officers and staff members of the Correctional Institution for Women. The participants learned basic online marketing skills which they could use to help sell the arts and crafts made by persons deprived of liberty at the CIW.
