PLDT and wireless unit Smart have ramped up digital inclusion efforts in the Visayas region, empowering senior citizens and visually impaired persons through digital training under the group's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Advocacy through Technology or IDEATe program.

PLDT, its wireless arm Smart Communications, and Cebu Normal University have joined forces to enrich the educational experience of both learners and teachers at San Antonio Integrated School in Boljoon, Cebu, by donating Learn Smart kits, a printer, and educational books.
