PLDT and its wireless unit Smart boost their efforts to fight online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC). In August alone, PLDT and Smart’s Cyber Security Operations Group blocked access to more than 400,000 URLs that host child sexual abuse and exploitation materials (CSAEM).

The PLDT Group is ready to help COMELEC conduct a more transparent and secure midterm elections in 2025. Its VITRO data centers will house two of three critical cluster of servers that will receive data directly transmitted by automated counting machines in the upcoming midterm polls next May.
