Residents of San Isidro in Talakag and Macasandig in Cagayan de Oro are the latest recipients of PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc.’s (Smart) #PlantSmart kits.

Underscoring its commitment to help build a #SafeandSmart nation, PLDT, Smart, and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) have rolled out another series of the ‘Project Ligtas’ Emergency Communications Training (ECT), to complement its PLDT-Smart Ligtas Kit.

More Filipino communities are benefiting from the disaster resilience initiatives of PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart).

PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc., together with ATRIEV, successfully trained 20 visually impaired persons in using the Android Accessibility Suite program so they can maximize the use of  their smartphones for daily living. 

In collaboration with PLDT Inc. and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), the city government of Cagayan de Oro recently conducted a mental health training and self-care orientation for Kagay-anon youth leaders.

PLDT and Smart, through their Better Today program, partnered with Passerelles numériques Philippines (PNPh) to launch a three-part mental health awareness conversations series for the benefit of the student-scholars of PNPh.

In partnership with the Cagayan De Oro-based Oro Youth Development Office (OYDO), PLDT and Smart are championing digital empowerment among the youth. 

PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) continue to help build more disaster-ready communities with the Ligtas Kit. The Group recently turned over one PLDT-Smart Ligtas Kit to the provincial government of Quirino.
