As Philippine agriculture embraces innovation, PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications bring technology closer to Filipino farmers through the Digital Farmers Program.

PLDT and Smart sustain livelihood opportunities for farmers and micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises with the help of technology, through collaborations with various partners.

PLDT and Smart in partnership with DA-ATI turned over a FarmTech training kit to the Integrated Carcar Rice Irrigators Association in Carcar City, Cebu, to help enhance the digital literacy of farmers.

Through the generosity of sponsors and help of volunteers, PLDT and Smart have established six PlantSmart GrowHubs in Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro, offering healthy produce and helping the youth develop an appreciation for agriculture and technology.
