PLDT and its wireless arm Smart Communications Inc. have added new citations to their roster of ISO certifications, reinforcing the Group's commitment to excellence across its operations.

PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications Inc. continue to support local culture, enabling the 11th year of Pasigarbo sa Sugbo, known as the “Festival of Festivals,” organized by the Provincial Government of Cebu.

Thirty women scholars have successfully completed their data science training as part of Batch 9 of the FTW Scholarship Program, spearheaded by For The Women Foundation in partnership with PLDT, Smart Communications, and PLDT-Smart Foundation.

The citation is given to organizations that have shown exceptional implementation of training and development programs in the field of artificial intelligence.

PLDT and Smart Communications Inc. have given Filipino Olympians Carlos Yulo, Nesthy Petecio, and Aira Villegas, and their respective coaches and staff, a total of ₱21 million as reward for earning the Philippines its biggest number of medals at the recently concluded Olympic Games Paris 2024.
