PLDT Enterprise and Smart empowered over 70 local MSMEs in Iloilo City through the #eBizNovation Buy Local Bazaar with Tiktok Shop Philippines and DTI Iloilo.

Schools in Agoncillo, Batangas, are turning to the PLDT and Smart-supported Central Visayan Institute Foundation Dynamic Learning Program to mitigate class interruptions amid intense heat this summer.

PLDT and Smart, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute and the Mennonite Economic Development Associates, are set to equip cacao farmers with digital technology while promoting sustainable farming practices for the cacao industry in Mindanao.

PLDT and Smart recently supported the mental health initiative of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. Attended by over 400 youth participants, the uplifting conversations were part of NEUST’s student government-led effort titled “I Matter: Building One’s Mental Health Across Different Bridges.”

PLDT and wireless unit Smart ramp up sustainability initiatives by teaming up with the SM Group through the SM Electronic Waste Collection Program. Under this partnership, PLDT and Smart will be deploying e-waste collection drop boxes in all existing 85 SM malls nationwide.

Philippines Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture and the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture, with the support of PLDT and Smart, recently held a forum which highlighted apps, tools, and research initiatives on climate action in the Philippines.

He has expressed appreciation for PLDT and Smart’s Digital Farmers Program, which will be offered to cacao farmers in partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute and Mennonite Economic Development Associates.

PLDT and wireless unit Smart continue to collaborate with TikTok Shop to open economic opportunities to more Filipinos. The partnership, which aims to provide relevant tools and knowledge to run an online business, recently benefited MSMEs and cooperatives of Cabuyao, Laguna.

PLDT-Smart Foundation has inked a two-year partnership with ASA Philippines Foundation to empower underprivileged communities through education and livelihood opportunities.

To further drive digital inclusion among Filipinos, thirteen (13) women graduates of PLDT Inc. (PLDT) and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc.’s (Smart) Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Advocacy through Technology (IDEATe) pilot training program for livelihood received desktop units to help them apply their new skills to support their families.
